From 24 to 30 November 2026, Bishkek hosts the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Championship and Junior Championship — the official continental tournament of the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Federation.

Around 1,500 athletes from 25 countries are expected. The competition takes place at the “Zhashtyk Arena” sports complex; all disciplines except special technique and power breaking are judged in real time using the GTF Kalys electronic judging system, and every competition area is broadcast online.

Asian Championship — men and women aged 18–37 and veterans (1st–5th dan). Asian Junior Championship — junior men and junior women aged 15–17, boys and girls aged 12–14 and boys and girls aged 10–11. Programme: hyung, sparring, point-stop sparring, power breaking, special technique and team events.

“Bishkek is ready to welcome the best Taekwon-Do athletes of Asia,” said Alimbek Kadyrov, President of the Asian Taekwon-Do GTF Federation and First Vice-President of the Global Taekwon-Do Federation GTF. “This championship will be a true celebration of our sport, of friendship between nations and of the spirit of Taekwon-Do.”
